Yamamoto Manufacturing Ltd. Ltd. started off in the watchcase-metallurgy industry in 1945 and effectively expanded throughout China, Korea, and Japan.

Yamamoto used their experience in plating and metallurgy to launch their first printed circuit board plant in Tokorozawa, Japan, in 1968.
