Just outside of Portland, Oregon, American Precision Industries (API) began as a modest two-person business in 1978. With a do-or-die mentality, it was sales by day and manufacture by night, catering to a new chip manufacturing sector. API now has more than 125 committed employees and more than 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space. API is still used in the defense, aerospace, medical, and renewable energy sectors in addition to the semiconductor industry.
