Ampex Metal Products is a privately owned, third-generation Ohio manufacturing company founded in 1960. Headquartered in Brook Park, Ohio, Ampex specializes in precision metal stamping and metal forming for OEM and Tier 1 customers. Its capabilities include progressive stamping, 4-slide and multi-slide forming, CNC wire forming, CNC spring coiling, product design, prototyping, tool and die design and build, welding, assembly, and finishing. The company supports high-volume production with stamping presses ranging from 22 to 600 tons and serves automotive, aerospace, electrical, appliance, electronics, HVAC, medical, military, and industrial markets. Ampex also provides secondary operations and finished subassemblies to help customers simplify their supply chains.
