Cédric Hamel and Fabien Versange, two friends and fellow engineers, founded the business SiteW.

When they decide to leave their different occupations in Toulouse, France, the story begins in 2007. For Cédric, at Siemens, and for Fabien, at Airbus.

They choose to establish themselves in the French department of Cantal in order to pursue their aim of providing a novel solution that will allow everyone to build a website.

After many restless nights, SiteW's first version debuts in 2008 with a free version that is made available right away.

The company has grown since then.
