The date of the plant's registration is February 7, 1952. The first name refers to a species of plant. The natural rubber plant was renamed the Rubber Products Plant (RTI) after the addition of new workshops and the creation of new product categories.

The Belarusian Production Association of Rubber Products (BPO) was founded on August 16, 1971.

The Belarusian Production Association changed its name to AP "Belarusrezinotekhnika" on April 16, 1990.

On April 30, 1992, a contract for the redemption of state property was reached with the State Property Management Committee, and the labor collective got a certificate of ownership for the property that had been entirely acquired from the state. The People's Enterprise "Belarusrezinotekhnika" is registered with the state under number 40-37 as of 25.08.92 (NP).
