In 1985, John and Myra Long founded C.H.L.

John had been working for SPS/Hilife Tools for 20 years when he decided to create C.H.L. He began with one gear shaper, producing gears for both Bijur lubricating Ireland and Willo pumps. Myra was employed at Krups and has experience in both production and quality control. From there, the business expanded and today has more than 8 CNC machines and a variety of gear cutting tools.

We currently have a customer base of 150, which includes medical businesses, agricultural, automotive, and aerospace firms, as well as individual people looking for design assistance and component manufacture. We have four long-term employees and are expanding the business even further. We manufacture gearboxes, fittings, prototypes, and CNC.
