In 1965, a management team with an emphasis on engineering founded Captor Corporation. This group brought a number of seasoned veterans with them, which gave the business a strong base. The collective expertise of this core group was exceptionally deep, spanning the electronic filter business as well as allied fields such as military and aerospace communications.

The company's early success made it possible for it to construct a specialized production facility soon after its founding. Our current 35,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, which accommodates all facets of our business including engineering, sales, and production, was built after this structure underwent multiple expansions.
