Since its founding, the company has witnessed numerous significant changes in the construction sector.
On January 12, 1908, a young man named William G. Carver made the decision to enter the sheet metal working industry in collaboration with George W. Peck. This new business was founded as Liberty Sheet Metal Works and was soon recognized as a Salt Lake region supplier of all types of tin, copper, and sheet iron work. It was housed in a modest structure at 231 West South Temple.
Mr. Peck experienced tragedy in November of the following year, just after starting the business, when he fell down an elevator shaft of a warehouse building they were renovating. Choice
