The history of Columbus Machine Work began in the mid-1990s when Mike Stacey accepted an immediate employment offer as a job-shop machinist. He rode his bike to work every day, producing parts and doing repairs for hundreds of local clients. Mike was always fascinated by how things were manufactured and operated. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, a wealth of practical expertise, an inquisitive mind for metalworking that evolved into a strong love for equipment and production, and an entrepreneurial vision and problem-solving drive, Mike created Columbus Machine.
