CMT's operations were increased every two years from its establishment in a 1,200 square foot building in 1994 to 2000. In two 10,000 square foot facilities from 2000 to 2005, CMT developed its internal business processes and machining capabilities. When CMT relocated into its current corporate facility in 2005, it was the company's next significant move. Along with this physical expansion, CMT made significant modifications to its approvals, business processes, and equipment. In 2006, CMT earned certifications for AS9100 and ISO9001, making it a top-tier supplier to its clients.

With over 100 workers, CMT is a privately held business with its headquarters in Corona, California.
