D.P. Tool & Machine, Inc.

David A. Phillips established D.P. in 1972. Tool & Machine, Inc. was founded by the proprietor alone in a tiny shop in Livonia, close to Rochester, New York.  After that, D.P. Due to its continuous popularity, Tool has relocated numerous times and expanded.  Therefore, in 1999 D.P. Tool moved to Avon, New York, about 20 minutes south of Rochester, into a newly constructed 58,000 square foot building in Crossroads Commerce Park on Tec Drive.  To fulfill client demand and support upcoming new projects, a new 40K expansion was constructed in 2016 (totaling 100K sq/ft). At the moment, D.P. Tool employs more than 100 employees, with employment levels rising as new programs are introduced.
