A team of engineers and seal industry experts came together to form Eclipse in 1999. In order to provide the industry with unmatched service in custom engineered solutions for demanding applications, the company's founder, Cliff Goldstein, saw the need for bespoke engineering assistance and combined that with manufacturing and prototyping services.

Eclipse Engineering was established on the premise that if we prioritized the needs of our clients over our own, we would always experience profitable growth. Customer service was consistently pushed to the forefront of what a business should be doing to grow in the middle of the 1980s, but corporations frequently find themselves turning inward with the idea that if we look after ourselves internally, our customers will value the service that our systems will provide, thereby making a profit.
