In 2005, the New Jersey-based company Eddie Kane Steel Products, Inc. established its first value-added processing plant in Mahoning Valley, Northeastern Ohio (Masury, Ohio). With the addition of a warehouse and distribution center in Ahoskie (Hertford County), North Carolina, and a sales, distribution, and processing facility in Commerce (Los Angeles county), California, by 2010, three facilities were running in key locations across the country. A sales, warehousing, and distribution center was founded in 2011 in Northport, Alabama (Tuscaloosa County).
