Pete Dahlhauser established EleMETAL Fabrication + Machine in 1964 under the name Pete's Custom Metal, Inc. Pete was committed to provide the best sheet metal goods at reasonable costs. His reputation for excellent craftsmanship is still upheld in the company today. In 1984, Ken Burbach was promoted to foreman and Jack Dahlhauser, Pete's son, to manager. Together, they improved upon the excellent craftsmanship that Pete's Custom Metal was renowned for. In 2007, Ken assumed daily management of the company. After Jack departed in 2011, Ken was elevated to vice president and given full control over the company's operations.
