Early in 2015, a technological business called Elisys was founded. It specialises in sophisticated electronics engineering and computer science. The company's initial objectives were to create innovative IOT technology for commercial and industrial applications in the energy sector. The development of such goods has a strong foundation thanks to the combined 20 years of experience in ubiquitous computing, automation, and electronics design.

Securing any sizable funding for the product's development became challenging in 2015 due to the global economic backdrop and the peculiar growing IOT sector. Elisys joined consortiums with an emphasis on both academia and industry for a number of EU-funded initiatives that, sadly, never materialised.
