With a combined 25 years of experience in CNC machining, fabrication, and machine building, Tim and Josh Vander Toorn made the decision to open their own fabrication shop in 2011. They pictured a CNC machining and fabricating business that would grow with technology, encourage staff members to experiment with and adopt novel methods and procedures, and prioritize quality and client happiness above all else.

Tim and Josh faced many doubters since they were taking such a big risk at such a young age in a downturning economy, but they were resolute. They have enough positive feedback from clients to feel confident in the caliber of their job. The automobile and automation equipment sectors gave the Vander Toorns their first few contracts. Eric Jones, a former coworker, brought more
