Epoch International, a high-tech design and manufacturing services firm with design and prototyping skills in California and a spectrum of high-volume manufacturing services in Dalian, China, was founded in 1993.

This enables Epoch to provide customers and partners in Silicon Valley and elsewhere with a comprehensive range of services, from concept to mass production. For a seamless transfer of projects from one location to another, the two facilities in Fremont and Dalian have streamlined their processes and implemented the same standards and equipment.

Additionally, in 2005, Epoch bought Pacific Trinetics Corp., a top supplier of ceramic microelectronic device equipment with headquarters in San Diego, to broaden its operational base. Its design skills have been further expanded by this diversification, leading to a number of significant industrial patents.
