Giovanni Fazio established Fazio, Kabeltechnik as a private business in 1987. He was able to create the business thanks to his specialised training, extensive experience working for renowned cable technology businesses, and positions with growing responsibility.  

Cable assembly business Fazio began operations in 1987 at Kühlbrunnenweg in St. Georgen. In this instance, cables were put together in typical production facilities. The initial group of employees was made up entirely of family members. The market supplied was primarily local to all of Germany.

A new 600 square metre building with increased production capacity was constructed in St. Georgen, Waldparkweg, in 1998. Employees rose in number. In addition to growing over all of Europe, the provided market is now heavily concentrated in Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy.
