Garnimetal was born in 1924, during the period that rail was conquered. At that time, the business produced "La Garniture" passenger seats for use in boats and railway cars.
The company transitioned to metal processing in 1976 because it foresaw the development of the upholstery sector. It purchases the first Trumpf punching machines in Belgium and establishes itself as a reputable subcontractor in a variety of fields, including telecommunications, access control, medical, and street furniture.
Nathalie Celis, the founder's great-granddaughter, took over management of the business in 2003.
