With the help of Bendywood®, a solid hardwood that can be treated like regular wood and bent in a cool, dry environment, you can lower labour costs, boost quality, and boost productivity.

Thanks to a technique that was patented in 1917, this unusual wood can be twisted. Hardwood blanks (beech, ash, oak, maple, cherry, and walnut) were put through a specific thermo-mechanical process. The blanks are initially steam-heated to soften the cell walls. The blanks are then squeezed along their length by about 20% while still damp. Finally, they are crushed and dried.
