Since the 17th century, Gnosjö has been a hub for entrepreneurship. Although not nearly as early, the history of GLS Industries dates back to 1940, when David Petersson founded Petersson's Metallfabrik. Since that time, the business has grown to include more than 150 employees. The goal of being Europe's top sheet metal processor is more important than ever, and as GLS solidifies its position as a top supplier of sheet metal processing, the work relating to long-term sustainability has moved up the priority list.
