HUI, a contract maker with ISO certification and experience in sheet metal fabrication, design engineering, powder coating, and assembly, was established in 1933. HUI services clients nationwide and specialises in the fabrication of industrial and medical products.

Kurt Bell, the CEO of HUI, began working there in 1993 as a scheduler. Kurt oversaw HUI's entry into LEAN Manufacturing in 1998, ushering in a new age of agility and customer service. At this point, HUI diversified into producing unique carts for the medical equipment sector.  

HUI attained ISO 9001 Certification in 2011 and ISO 13485 Certification in 2014 by building on the efficiencies attained through LEAN, utilising a team-based atmosphere, and attending to customer requests.
