Tom Williams established Industrial Machine and Supply, Inc. in 1967. Talladega-based textile manufacturer Wehadkee Yarn Mills served as his first client. Tom sought to supply top-notch OEM and replacement components to factories and companies throughout the South from these modest beginnings. Tom was able to watch his family and business expand over time. When David was a young lad, he started learning about the difficulties of machining. Early in the 1990s, David took over as president. Less textile work was soon done, and CNC machines were introduced to IMS due to changes in the textile business and machining techniques.Our customer base is now global and includes companies in the consumer products, automotive, agriculture, and material handling sectors.
