Hello I'm Benjamin Jolie, a Victoria, British Columbia-based Mechanical Engineering Technologist registered with ASTTBC. When I was younger, I wanted to be in a setting where I could construct things. I studied metalworking classes and learned computer drafting software in high school, which helped me land jobs in machine shops supporting British Columbia's resource-based sectors. After completing Camosun College's technology program in 2005, I immediately began working in the local tech scene, which I continue to be a part of today.
