In 1988, Scott Merchant created Ithaca Manufacturing. The A-Maize-Ing Heat furnace was invented by Scott, and it was manufactured by IMC until the rights were sold in 1990. Since 1990, IMC has been meeting the demands of clients in various sectors. Ithaca Manufacturing has worked on numerous projects and with a wide range of clients over that time. Ithaca Manufacturing has completed projects including collectors, hoppers, and machine bases for plastic granulator apparatus. At the moment, IMC produces gymnastic training apparatus for usage all around the world.  Ithaca Manufacturing is capable of creating a wide range of custom projects, including ornate signs and railings.
