JB Tool, Die & Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1962 by partners James Beltz and Calvin Bear in downtown Fort Wayne. Within just three years, the company outgrew its original facility and relocated to the Interstate Business Park, where it remains today. Following multiple expansions to the main building and the acquisition of neighboring properties, JB Tool now operates from a three-building campus on Dividend Road. Originally focused solely on the design and construction of progressive dies, the company has since expanded its capabilities. Today, JB Tool designs and manufactures Rotary Compression Molding machinery and tooling, develops specially designed machines for a wide range of industries, provides precision machining services for the aerospace sector, and continues its strong tradition in die making. In 2012, JB Tool completed and received registration to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, further strengthening its commitment to quality and continuous improvement. With a team of nearly 65 skilled engineers, die makers, and machinists, JB Tool, Die & Engineering is fully equipped to meet customer needs for custom machinery, tooling, and precision machined components.
