The Birmingham, Alabama-based Jordan Machine Company got its start in 1948 as a normal small work shop, carrying out upkeep and repairs for neighbourhood businesses. We started using our CNC lathe in 1979, making us early adopters of computerised metal cutting in a small shop setting. In the years that followed, we gradually added more CNC machines and earned a reputation in the area for our big CNC machine sizes and our capacity to employ CNC equipment in a job shop setting to produce short runs of extremely accurate industrial components.Since 1997, our business has been an Employee Owned (ESOP) firm, which means that each employee has a stake in the ownership, direction, and expansion of the business. We have numerous workers who are over 10, 20, or 30.
