In the first year of business, Gil, Scott, and Randy, our sons, joined the company. We are a family-run business. Serving the aerospace, military, medical, transportation, industrial, and commercial sectors, LMI is a premium custom manufacturer run by veterans.

LMI keeps reinvesting money to keep our fabrication, machining, and assembly departments equipped with cutting edge machinery. In March 1994, LMI received our ISO 9000 accreditation. LMI is presently accredited by NSF-ISR for both AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certification.

In 1986, LMI started operations in a 5,000 square foot space and later grew to 20,000 sq. by 1993. In 1994, as the company expanded, we moved to a 40,000 square foot facility. In 1998, we expanded our fabrication facility by adding 15,000 square feet. LMI grew once more.
