Established machinist John H. Leese took a chance in 1953 when he chose to go it alone and start his own company. Soon after, John Leese and Robert Orris joined together to create Leese & Orris Machine. After many years of productive collaboration, the business divided to become Orris Machine and Leese & Co., Inc.

After John Leese retired, J. Barry Leese was appointed president, and the Leese heritage kept thriving.  Barry led Leese & Co., Inc. through numerous acquisitions and expansions. The Leese & Co., Inc. legacy is currently being carried on by Christian G. Klanica. He brings more than 30 years of manufacturing expertise to the table to safeguard the long-term viability of the family firm.
