The Scannell family established Lowell Iron & Steel in 1879. The company began as one of the East Coast's and New England's leading producers of high pressure steam boilers.

The business has grown into a massive, 45,000-square-foot production facility under roof over time. At the moment, we have approximately 25,000 square feet of steel form inventory in our enormous warehouse.
