Over 450 undergraduate students are enrolled in Loughborough School of Design & the Creative Arts' BA (Hons) Industrial Design program, which I oversee as Programme Director. I am a member of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Peer Review College, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I am currently the external examiner for RCA/Imperial College's MA Global Innovation Design program, and I represent the school in the Cumulus Association. In order to uncover insights for the creation of fictional scenarios, personas, and consumer journeys, my research is generally located within the field of Design Futures and use techniques like observational research, design probes, co-design workshops, and conceptual provotypes.
