Growing up in the Eugene, Oregon suburbs, our founder developed a childhood passion for building, first taking pleasure in creating static models and LEGO kits. For a number of years, his father had a mobile fabrication company and was constantly creating something interesting in his workshop. Observing him and asking questions taught him a lot. When he was a high school student, he and his father built a few race cars together after moving to Idaho in the middle of the 1980s. His abilities become more advanced as he aged. He had become somewhat of an expert welder and had begun to create some things himself. He received his first CAD job in 1997 and was able to create more quickly and precisely with Autocad's assistance.
