NORTHERN INDUSTRIAL SERVICES

Stephane Godin, the company's current president and CEO, launched NIS in 2001. Steph discovered the considerable need for high-quality local non-destructive testing services in Northern Ontario not long after he started his career in the field. Working for one of the biggest mining companies in the world at the time, Steph was able to expand his expertise in nondestructive testing by gaining experience in a variety of NDT-related fields such as mining, structural fabrication, processing, hoisting, and more.Steph didn't make the decision to leave his job at Vale and pursue his goal of being a full-time entrepreneur in the Non-Destructive Testing industry in Northern Ontario and the surrounding areas until 2007. NIS has grown rapidly since 2007 and is currently providing services to clients from coast to coast.
