A mechanical engineer and industrial mechanics enthusiast, Mr. Oscar Gómez started OGM Precisión Técnica in the year 2000 under the name PRETECSA in the city of Tejar, Cartago.

Growth enabled the construction of a larger plant in Tejar in 2003, and the business changed its name to OGM Precisión Técnica SA in 2006. This also gave us the chance to start implementing technological advancements, such as CNC machinery.

Growth, a symptom of the high level of customer satisfaction, necessitates that the factory, which was only recently completed, is insufficient, so in 2013, we shifted our activities to the Cartago Free Trade Zone, where we have a 1,000 square metre building with more machinery, a quality laboratory, and other amenities.
