Chris Prescott, a young English sheet metal worker and blacksmith who immigrated to America in quest of a better life, created Prescott Metal in 1918. Prescott Metal flourished as a small, family-run sheet metal shop throughout the succeeding years, providing services to commercial and industrial businesses within a thirty-mile radius of Biddeford, Maine. Our business widened its service offerings and geographic scope in 1964. Since then, the number of employees has more than tripled, the plant has grown eight times, and cutting-edge equipment and capabilities are constantly being added.

Even now, more than a century later, Prescott Metal is regarded as one of New England's top manufacturers of specialty sheet metal. Currently, Prescott Metal serves a variety of industrial and equipment manufacturers by providing precision sheet metal, structural parts, and precision tubular frames.
