Stan Noort, the company's founder, kept a close eye on Punch Tools when it got started. Stan has always valued client feedback, and over time, this approach has been beneficial.

Punch Tools' expertise expanded from its beginnings as a distributor of tool and die manufacturers and industrial supplies to offer value-added solutions, mostly entire punching assemblies, including strip layout, punch and die production, and punch presses.

Robert Farr joined Stan as a partner in 1992. Robert's extensive industry knowledge and natural sales talent helped push Punch Tools to the top of the Western Canadian metal stamping market. Over the next ten years, Robert and Stan worked closely together to deliver solutions that forced Punch Tools to add departments for tool and die manufacturing, metal stamping, and parts assembly.
