In 1993, Thomas P. Manolakos launched the business. He was a Greek Merchant Marine who immigrated to the United States in 1977 in search of a better life for his family. The business had modest beginnings and began in a small industrial condo in Danvers, Massachusetts. Anastasia, Thomas' wife, joined the company as it expanded. Together, they built and maintained the company for upcoming generations. Their son Yianni now fully owns the business and continues the family tradition. The business keeps its attention on the principles ingrained in its culture from the beginning.
