Sacometal Oy

The business was subsequently purchased by Johnson Metall of Sweden in 1970. The company was formerly known as Messukylä Metallivalimo before changing its name to Oy Johnson Metall Ab in 1976. This timeframe of nearly 50 years was one of expansion and development. In terms of its production practises and operational culture, the company has developed into an agile medium-sized business as a dependable partner of the Nordic engineering sector.

When Sacotec Invest Oy acquired the whole equity of the Pirkkala factory for itself in 2019, the company was once again owned by local investors. The name of the business was also changed to 2021 Sacometal Oy with the owner who has a strong belief in and investment in local manufacture.

Sacometal has evolved throughout the years with its clients. In Finland, Sacometal is the industry leader.
