The history of SEACOMP began in 1989 when Displaytech was established in Hong Kong as a provider of LCD modules. After eight years, SEACOMP, a Displaytech sales office, was established in San Diego, California. Every year, we added plastic injection molding, tooling, PCB assembly services, and surface mount capabilities to our list of services.

HDP Power was established in 2008 to assist with our clients' power requirements. In order to complement hardware and software engineering, we subsequently established a design engineering team. Following a consolidation of operations in 2012, SEACOMP assumed leadership of our divisions.
