Smith Engineering (Scotland) Ltd is a small local company founded in January 1991. Primarily our main source of work was within the Scotch whisky industry and in particular with J & B Scotland Ltd, where we gained invaluable experience in dealing with whisky cask racking and general steelwork. It was decided in 1993 that more effort should be taken to broaden and expand our customer data base; this resulted in contracts being secured with Morrison Construction and the Highland Territorial Army.
