We saw a need in the market in July 2022 for a less expensive alternative to established design firms that could get prototypes designed and produced and carry that process all the way to a minimal viable product and beyond.

Our founder, Ryan Smith, took the risk to launch Smith Robotics in 2022 based on his extensive experience in the aerospace and military industries and his solid background in freelancing to work with customers who required that experience to launch their ideas.

Smith Robotics has expanded and gained experience that can benefit you, starting with agricultural technology in a vineyard, making mechanical keyboards for a Spanish company, and developing model rocket controller prototypes for an Australian client.
