Despite years of planning, Speedway Fabrication finally came to be in February 2003.

Owner of SFI Will Jones relocated to Mooresville, North Carolina in 1995 after volunteering at neighborhood asphalt short tracks for more than ten years in upstate New York.

Jones began working for Dale Earnhardt Incorporated shortly after moving to the South, where he acquired the abilities and know-how that have allowed Speedway Fabrication to operate for 16 years. 

As a car builder, SFI has won multiple races in the NASCAR Truck and X-Finity series. They currently provide water jet services on their 5-axis Omax machine.
