Steg Engineering is a medium-sized general engineering firm that offers small to heavy machining, fitting, and fabrication services to the steel industry. We work on both big and little projects. Furthermore capable of responding to emergencies round-the-clock.

When Steve and Greg departed the BHP Western Port Steel Plant to start their own general engineering workshop, Steg Engineering was born in 1987.

Steve was a machinist, inspector, estimator, planner, and workshop supervisor who arrived with 15 years of expertise. With 13 years of experience, Greg brought skills as a machinist, draftsman, leading hand, machine shop supervisor, and general manager of the service shop. The two have 88 years of total industry expertise as of 2014!
