Founded in 1918 by Frank Zimmerman, Superior Rubber Company, Inc. is a long-standing family-owned and operated business with more than a century of experience in the rubber and gasket industry. Originally established as a small hose and gasket shop on the corner of 3rd and Main Street, the company built its reputation on quality products, dependable service, and strong customer relationships. Following the historic flood of 1937, Superior Rubber relocated to its current facility at 134 East McMicken Avenue, just north of downtown Cincinnati, where it continued to expand and strengthen its market presence. In 1977, the company was acquired by Jacob C. Klein, and ownership has remained within the Klein family ever since, continuing the tradition of family leadership and operational excellence.
