Capital Models, a thriving and well-known model-making business with headquarters in London, was formed in 1994 by Robert and Marcia Danton-Rees.

They bought their first laser-cutting machine in 2000, always eager to stay abreast of new technology. They had no idea that this choice would pave the way for completely new endeavors 17 years later. The laser cutting side of the business gained momentum as a result of the knowledge, care, and attention provided to each project over the years, and one machine was transformed into five cutting-edge machines and a 3-axis CNC machine.

As a result of this consistent expansion, Robert and Marcia realized that a specific brand was needed to accurately reflect the available laser cutting services. As a result, Swordfish Works was created.
