Tenfold's modest beginnings may be traced back to 2000, when it began operating as a nationwide contractor for a large telecoms operator, installing cellular sites. After a successful stint as a contractor in the telecommunications sector, it saw a market need and took the initiative to become a manufacturer and supplier of network cabling and server data cabinets. It continues to be a significant participant in the data and enclosure cabinet manufacturing business to this day, making significant investments in technology to raise its profile in the sector. It also made investments in other companies. Thus, it was able to develop six different enterprises under its wing over a span of nearly 20 years.
