Ioannis Tyrpanis established the Tyrpanis Company in 1968. These days, his sons are in charge of running it.

The Tyrpanis Company has 3,000 square metres of private space in Lefki Xanthis, Greece. It is regarded as one of the top Greek machine shops after 50 years in the business and continues to have collaborations with important technological firms and research organisations.

Currently, the business also operates a commercial division where it sells a variety of industrial parts, tools, and raw materials.
