Owner of WHA Aaron Bradshaw began his career in the mining sector as an auto electrician and has worked in mines both in Australia and abroad. He encountered OEM wiring harnesses that were deteriorating, wearing out quickly, and unfit to sustain the harsh circumstances on these locations. Aaron set out to find a solution since excessive lead times were leading to equipment downtime that was unacceptable.

Wiring Harnesses Australia was founded in 2010. This was operated concurrently with Aaron's labor-hire and car electrical businesses. Aaron, who was born and raised in Mount Isa, used his experience to create and test goods that have grown in demand and earned a reputation for excellence.

By 2014, WHA had expanded to the point where wiring harness production was the company's main business.
