Zierold Metal Corporation, a tiny metal shop in southern California where ZERO Manufacturing got its start, was renamed to ZERO in 1952. Formerly known as ZERO Corporation, the business expanded to incorporate activities and sites around the country. In North Salt Lake, Utah, the firm combined many of its divisions into a single site in 1991.
