Industry leader Ban Seng Lee Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 1978 to address the rising demand from Japanese clients for metal components. Matsushita Air Conditioning was our initial customer, and as we grew, we added clients in the audio, automotive, computer, camcorder, and various household appliance industries. Our customers today include manufacturers of furniture, office supplies, industrial, agricultural, automotive, and electrical and electronic products.

As part of our expansion, we founded Crestronics (M) in 1999 for PCB Assembly operations and Unique Forging & Components in 1989 to lead forging activities. All of our manufacturing businesses were housed within BSL Corporation Berhad, which was later floated on Bursa Malaysia, Malaysia's stock exchange, in 2005.

After listing, BSL Corp. Berhad created joint venture companies for the manufacture of tubes.
